Rougie Duck Leg Confit
Duck legs seasoned and slowly cooked in duck fat. Rougie duck confit comes as four legs in a shelf stable can with 24 ounces of duck fat. Does not require overnight shipping!
Perfect for Cassoulet; great with salad or serve warm with side dishes such as celery root and potato puree and steamed asparagus. To heat, just place legs in a frying pan fat side down and cook until the skin is crispy and golden brown. Turn over just to heat through. Save the duck fat and use to saute potatoes or vegetables or make your own confit.
Rougie duck confit is shelf stable and will last for 1 - 2 years. Please check the "best by" date.
