Scientific data supports that beef from cattle that had constant access to natural grasses is lower in saturated fat and higher in key essential fatty acids such Omega-3 fatty acid and Conjugated Linoleic Acids (CLA’s).This data also supports that beef from cattle that have had constant access to natural grasses is higher in Beta-Carotene, Vitamin E and other antioxidants.
Long Valley Ranch pasture raised beef ships frozen in a styrofoam box with gel ice. Once thawed, the steaks should be consumed within a week. Bring to room temperature before cooking. Grill over open flames or in a preheated cast iron skillet.
