Ordering & Shipping

Orders for perishable products are shipped overnight to the continental 48 states. A flat fee of $28.00 covers handling, overnight shipping, and packaging materials including gel ice packs, and Styrofoam boxes, and separate shipment of dry goods by USPS.
Perishable products are packaged to last up to 48 hours.
If order contains only dry goods, the product will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail for a flat fee charge of $8.00.

Shipping Costs to Alaska and Hawaii is $38.00 for perishable items. The cost of shipping dry goods alone is $8.00. We do not ship product outside of the United States.

Shipping charges are based on one shipping destination. Signature is not required for delivery. If nobody is there when the package is delivered, the box will be left at the door. Product cannot be shipped to PO boxes.

Ordering Information
Product orders are placed online. The shopping cart is secure and SSL encrypted (scrambled). Because orders are immediately sent to the appropriate suppliers, online ordering is the most efficient and expeditious method. If your order includes items from more than one of Mirepoix’s suppliers, the product from each supplier will be shipped separately. Out of stock items are visible in the catalog but cannot be added to the cart (hence avoiding accidental ordering of unavailable items).

Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card only. We do not accept checks or money orders. Your credit card will be charged upon ordering.

Shipping Timeframe
Orders placed by 12:00 noon Eastern Standard Time (EST) will generally ship the day the order is received, but all orders may take up to three business days to ship. Orders placed as late as 3:00 EST may still ship same day. Orders will be shipped Monday – Thursday only, and will not be shipped on holidays. Please plan ahead when ordering products. Same day shipping is not guaranteed.

Address Correction
If a package is undeliverable because you have entered an incorrect or incomplete address during the registration or checkout process, we may attempt to find the correct address and try to complete the delivery. If this occurs, Mirepoix USA will assess a special handling fee of $10 per address correction, and will reserve the right to charge that amount to your credit card. You authorize Mirepoix USA to make and collect such charge. Please double-check addresses during checkout to avoid delays and extra fees.

In the event an incorrect or incomplete address is provided to us and the shipped product spoils as a result of the delay, Mirepoix USA will not be liable, and a refund will not be awarded.

Order Errors
The customer is responsible for correctly entering orders online. Mirepoix USA is not responsible for customer mistakes during ordering, and will not bear financial responsibility for such errors. Examples include but are not limited to typing errors, transposing addresses, swapping shipping and billing addresses, selecting the wrong items, selecting the wrong number of items, etc. Please double-check all information before you submit your order. Once the order is placed, it may not be cancelled.

Guarantee, Cancellations and Returns
Products are guaranteed to arrive in good order. Please notify us by email within 24 hours if the product is spoiled or damaged in shipping. We will mail shipping instructions and a return authorization number and instructions.

Prices and Inaccuracies on Web Site
Product prices are subject to change without notice. Information displayed on enjoyfoiegras.com may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that relate to product descriptions and pricing. Though we regret any such inaccuracies or misstatements, Mirepoix USA is not responsible and reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time without prior notice, and to refuse or cancel any order that includes any product listed at the incorrect price.
